When Heaven Breaks In With Good News for the Lowly

Scripture: Luke 2:8–12; Psalm 34:18

The angels appear not to royalty but to shepherds—overlooked, underpaid, unnoticed. Heaven breaks in on the margins. “I bring you good news of great joy.”

Psalm 34:18 declares, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” Advent reminds us that God moves toward the humble, the hurting, and the forgotten.

If you've ever felt invisible or insignificant, hear this: heaven sees you. Jesus came for you—right where you are. When heaven breaks in, dignity is restored and hope rises.
