When Heaven Breaks In On Those Who Wait Well
Scripture: Luke 2:25–32; Isaiah 40:31
Simeon has been waiting for years—faithful, prayerful, expectant. Isaiah 40:31 says that those who wait on the Lord “renew their strength.” Simeon is living proof.
One ordinary day, heaven breaks in and the promise arrives. Simeon takes Jesus in his arms and knows: God keeps His word.
Waiting is hard. But waiting with the Holy Spirit shapes us, not breaks us.
If you’re waiting on God, keep watching. Keep trusting. Heaven breaks in right on time.
Prayer:
Father, strengthen me as I wait. Keep my heart expectant, my eyes open, and my spirit trusting. Reveal Yourself in my waiting. Amen.
