When Heaven Breaks In With Peace in the Waiting
Scripture: Philippians 4:4–7; Isaiah 26:3
Christmas Eve sits in the tension between promise and fulfillment—almost there, but not yet. Paul
tells us, “The Lord is near… and the peace of God will guard your hearts.” Isaiah 26:3 says He keeps us in “perfect peace” when our minds stay on Him.
Tonight, bring your worries and hopes to Jesus.
Heaven breaks into our waiting with peace—not flimsy peace, but guarding peace. His presence surrounds your heart like a shield.
Take a moment to breathe, pray, and remember: the Lord is near.
Prayer:
Jesus, You are near. Calm my heart, quiet my mind, and fill me with Your peace as I wait on You. Amen.
