I Peter 2:2-5 > “Like new-born babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation, 3 now that you have tasted that the Lord is good. 4 As you come to him, the living Stone —rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”
God Is Knitting HCYYC Together Into A Spiritual House!. We all start as isolated stones and alone. But we are also unique and precious stones, chosen by God, and rejected by men. God then knits us together into one body and one house, so we are not isolated bricks on the brick-pile of life but knit together into a spiritual house. When you are an isolated brick and not part of the house, anyone can pick you off the brick-pile and toss you aside. But when you are cemented into God’s House at HCYYC, you are no longer vulnerable, isolated, and alone.
Because God has given you a heart for Hope Church YYC, we ask you to prayerfully consider how the Lord would have you contribute to this offering. None of us can accomplish alone what all of us can accomplish together.
