When Heaven Breaks In Through Humility
Scripture: Luke 2:1–7; Philippians 2:6–8
Jesus is born not in a palace but in a manger. Heaven breaks in through humility. Philippians 2 tells us that Jesus “made Himself nothing,” taking on the nature of a servant.
God chooses simplicity over spectacle, quiet over prestige, hiddenness over hype.
Maybe your life feels ordinary or unimpressive. Good news: God delights in humble places. He shows up where hearts are open, even when circumstances aren’t perfect.
When heaven breaks in, humility becomes holy ground.
Prayer:
Jesus, keep my heart humble and open. Meet me in the ordinary and transform the simple places of my life with Your presence. Amen.
