DAY 5 - December 5: When Heaven Breaks In With Comfort and Clarity
DAY 5 — December 5
When Heaven Breaks In With Comfort and Clarity
Scripture: Isaiah 40:1–5; Psalm 27:14
God says, “Comfort, comfort my people.” Before Jesus comes in the flesh, the Father speaks words of restoration. Then He calls His people to “prepare the way”—to lift valleys, level mountains, straighten paths.
This is the work of Advent: clearing space for Jesus. Psalm 27:14 says, “Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart.” Waiting is not passive. It is preparation.
Maybe your December feels cluttered—emotionally, mentally, spiritually. Yet heaven wants to break into that clutter with comfort and clarity. Ask the Lord: What needs lifting? What needs leveling? What needs clearing?
As you prepare Him room, you’ll find that God meets you with fresh strength and renewed hope. When heaven breaks in, comfort rises and clarity comes.
Prayer:
Father, bring comfort to my weary places and clarity to my confused ones. Prepare my heart for Your presence. Help me wait on You with hope and trust. In Jesus Name. Amen.
