DAY 9 – January 12 - Together We Thrive: With a Heart for the Harvest
Scriptures: Isaiah 41:10; Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19–20
Mark 6:6-7 tells us that, “Jesus went around teaching from village to village. Calling the Twelve to him, he began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over impure spirits.”
God never sends us alone. We go with one another, and Isaiah 41:10 reminds us that God strengthens, helps, and upholds us as we step into His mission. A heart for the Harvest doesn’t rely on confidence in self—it rests in confidence in God.
The Harvest field is all around us: workplaces, neighborhoods, families, and friendships. God moves hearts long before we ever speak a word. Our role is to love well, listen carefully, and trust the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do.
Prayer & fasting sharpens our spiritual sensitivity and fuels compassion. Today, ask God to give you
eyes to see people the way He sees them—through the lens of love and hope.
Prayer:
God, give us courage and compassion for the Harvest. Use our lives to point others toward You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
